July 25, 2006More information has been released about the **FREE** MySpace-sponsored show featuring SLAYER, MASTODON, CHILDREN OF BODOM and THINE EYES BLEED which will be taking place today (July 25) at In The Venue (219 S. 660 W) in Salt Lake City, Utah. Doors open at 5:00 p.m. Entry is limited so get there early to ensure success. The showtimes are as follows:
THINE EYES BLEED: 5:30 p.m.
CHILDREN OF BODOM: 6:15 p.m.
MASTODON: 7:10 p.m.
SLAYER: 8:20 p.m.
Due on August 8, "Christ Illusion" is SLAYER's first new studio album since 2001, and the first recorded by the band's original line-up — Kerry King (guitar),Tom Araya (bass, vocals),Jeff Hanneman (guitars),Dave Lombardo (drums) — since 1990's "Seasons In The Abyss". "Christ Illusion" was produced by Josh Abraham and executive-produced by Rick Rubin.
SLAYER recently taped an appearance on the Independent Film Channel program "The Henry Rollins Show". According to the IFC show's web site, the episode featuring SLAYER will premiere on July 29.
